2 Thoughts to “Educational Discount Program”

  1. Kim, Wednesday, December 26, 2012:

I’m looking at Sorting Thoughts now. I’m an educator trying to figure out if your program is useful to me or not (ie. what can you offer that document pages and folders cannot). I thought the use of Gantt charts might be interesting, possibly useful, but I can find no information within the program or on your site to see how I might use or even create such charts.

    Anything to offer?
    Kim

    Hi Kim,

thanks for testing Sorting Thoughts and sorry for the patchy documentation.

To use the Gantt chart feature you must create a project thought first:
    http://www.sorting-thoughts.de/wiki/display/docen/Create+a+thought

After this create some sub task thoughts for the project.

Go back to your project thought and open the special tab on the bottom called “Task Schedule”:
    http://www.sortingthoughts.de/blog/wp-content/gallery/gantt-eng/gantt-eng.png

On this tab you can see the project Gantt chart with all sub tasks of the project. You can modify the start and end date of tasks with mouse dragging, zoom in/out and show the duration in days by clicking the calendar icon.

To share your Gantt chart you can create a HTML export of the project and the sub tasks.

    Best Regards
    Hendrik Ebel
