Hi Stanley, thanks for commenting. I hope the first release of the desktop version will be available this summer. Then you can buy Sorting Thoughts for a fair price. The webOS version will stay free in the future.

oh that’s not good. If you have installed Sorting Thoughts for webOS for the first time, you can delete the installed app (push the orange button and the app icon). Then download and install the app again. I hope it works then. If not, please contact me again.

I can’t seem to be able to use color or anything other than just creating lists. Help!

to mark a thought with a color you must turn your palm in the landscape position on the list view. That’s all.

the password protection feature is in planing and will definitely come to you. But you have to wait a while. My focus is at the moment the realization of the desktop app and the sync feature.

after a hard reset you have unfortunately no chance for a restore. I’m working in the moment on the desktop-palm sync feature and you gave me one more reason to invest every free minute in this feature.

Thank you so much. I am a writer of poetry, fiction and nonfiction. I am also an artist, working in many medias. These two also combine in my graphic novels. I am one of those people who have new ideas exploding through my mind at all times. I have storage boxes filled with notebooks of ideas but not organized too well. It became impossible to carry around a different notebook for every category at all times and copying it into other notebooks is time consuming and stifles creativity. With your app, I can now type it in and categorize it in one shot and it’s nice and compact in my phone that I have with me all the time anyways. I completely agree with Pat (Jun 11 comment), the memo app that comes with webOS is very poor in both concept and function. The webOS designers could learn alot from you. Thank you again for such an amazing app.

Here you can find the Sqlite DB with all your items.
I love it, use it for everything. I wish it was a choice to lock it with a password like a diary.

Hi Ric, Sorting Thoughts for webOS will not support cloud services. In my opinion this is a key feature of Sorting Thoughts. But I’m sure you find many other tools which support this. For example you can use Google Docs with your mobile browser: https://docs.google.com/m

When will the desktop version be available and how much will it cost per year? I have many things to document, medical issues, personal thoughts, work issues and am anxious to be able to do this at a computer instead of on my phone all the time.

the desktop version has a price per man version. You pay once for version. 1.x.x – no annual fee. And your data will only hosted on your computer. This is in my opinion very important for sensitive data.

the single edition for one computer (win or mac) will be cost: 34.95 EUR / 39.95 US$ and the family (multi) edition for all your personal computers at home and work: 64.95 EUR / 69,95 US$
For the first version (1.0.x) I give a launch discount of 25%.
The euro prices are incl. taxes and all prices are per main version (1.x.x, 2.x.x., …).

Hi Tierionna, unfortunately not. All your entries will be also deleted. Nice work! Any chance you may work in some mind mapping features into sorting thoughts? There are no mind mapping apps available to my knowledge. This would be particularly useful on the Touchpad.

I cleared my history, cache, cookies on my Touchpad and lost all data. Now when I try to add a new topic, it won t save either.

after removing the browser data like cache and cookies, Sorting Thoughts should normally still have all entries. It is possible that you cleaned your TouchPad with the “reset options” in the Device Info app? Then you will lose all your Sorting Thoughts entries and you must remove and reinstall the Sorting Thoughts app.

Can you use a stylus to write notes with this app?
