Likin’ it! Thanks for offering this nice app. When will the Desktop client be available? Will you charge? I would pay.
Hi Stanley, thanks for commenting. I hope the first release of the desktop version will be available this summer. Then you can buy Sorting Thoughts for a fair price. The webOS version will stay free in the future.
Regards
Hendrik…
Hallo Hendrik,
Hendrik…
mac – palm pre – SYNC ?
I wait it
thanks it is wonfeful
won’t install on my palm pre! Please help!
Hi Kim,
oh that’s not good. If you have installed Sorting Thoughts for webOS for the first time, you can delete the installed app (push the orange button and the app icon). Then download and install the app again. I hope it works then. If not, please contact me again.
Best regards
Hendrik Ebel
Advice: If you have problems to install a webOS app from App Catalog, please see here for support: http://bit.ly/9QE6yy
I just downloaded this app and I’m impressed. Thank you sooo much for creating such a great application it is truley inspiring. Much appreciated.
thank you again. Looking forward to the Desktop Client.
I can’t seem to be able to use color or anything other than just creating lists. Help!
Hi,
to mark a thought with a color you must turn your palm in the landscape position on the list view. That’s all.
Best regards
Hendrik Ebel
This would be just the app everyone could use if only you could add a password option! Is that possible in the near future? Ide pay for that
Hi Jennifer,
the password protection feature is in planing and will definitely come to you. But you have to wait a while. My focus is at the moment the realization of the desktop app and the sync feature.
Please stay tuned!
Regards,
Hendrik…
Thank you SO much for this awesome application and for it being free. The pre-loaded Memos app just is too hard to see and organize all my info. Thanks again!
love app! My phone died & lost all data. Anyway to restore? PLEASE!
Hi Jolene,
after a hard reset you have unfortunately no chance for a restore. I’m working in the moment on the desktop-palm sync feature and you gave me one more reason to invest every free minute in this feature.
Stay tuned!
Regards,
Hendrik…
I love this! I’ve got it all color coded & there are enough colors for different subjects. This is my new favorite app on my palm! Thanks so much!
I like this app more than any other ones of it’s type. Very good job, I love it. I can wait for the updates.
prima! Aber ich finde die Suchfunktion nicht. Wie funktioniert die?
Hi Marianne,
einfach auf der Übersichtsseite ein Suchwort eintippen, dann erscheint automatisch die Sucheingabe und in der Liste die Suchergebnisse.
Viel Spass beim Suchen
Hendrik…
Thank you so much. I am a writer of poetry, fiction and nonfiction. I am also an artist, working in many medias. These two also combine in my graphic novels. I am one of those people who have new ideas exploding through my mind at all times. I have storage boxes filled with notebooks of ideas but not organized too well. It became impossible to carry around a different notebook for every category at all times and copying it into other notebooks is time consuming and stifles creativity. With your app, I can now type it in and categorize it in one shot and it’s nice and compact in my phone that I have with me all the time anyways. I completely agree with Pat (Jun 11 comment), the memo app that comes with webOS is very poor in both concept and function. The webOS designers could learn alot from you. Thank you again for such an amazing app.
Is my data any place on the Pre where I can back it up.
@Jason yes, connect your Palm per USB and open the hidden folder:
/.app-storage/file_.media.cryptofs.apps.usr.palm.applications. com.sortingthoughts.palmpre_0/
Here you can find the Sqlite DB with all your items.
